Belair Auto Parts

A little history of this business and it owner,  Mike.

Belair Auto Parts specializes in 1949-1954 Chevy Parts.   Reproduction, used, NOS and restored parts are all offered here.   Why 1949-1954 you might ask?  Because at 15 years old I bought my first 1953 Chevy Belair 2 door Sedan.  It was Baby Blue and White, 235 engine, with a PG trans and I fell in love.  I took my drivers test in that car.  Do you want to talk 53’s call me because I am currently building a 1953 Belair 2dr Post car to replicate my first car.  I use the word replicate because I am building it to be what I wanted my first car to be.

I do not have store front.  I have always worked out of my home.  I try to have in stock the parts that the big companies don’t make time for.  Used parts that I restore. NOS parts that are hard to find and pieces and parts the big guys don’t realize are important.

I am truly a one man business, always have been and always will be.  So when you call I am the only person who will answer the phone and or  return your call.

I will always answer your questions.   Ask away I might be able to help to clarify how these cars are put together.   I also have a huge collection of  research information, including GM parts books and independent company catalogs. “old catalogs”

Since the day I bought my first 1953 Chevy “at 15 yrs old”  I have owned and  driven many different cars through the years,  These cars include my 53 Chevy, a 1954 Chevy,  a 1957 Chevy,  a 1958 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser,  a 1966 Dodge Conv.,   a 1965 Plymouth Sport Fury,  a 1970 Barracuda 383 4 spd,  a 1967 Firebird,  a 1940 Ford Coupe,  a 1959 Ford Ranchero,  a 1964 Chevy Impala 2 dr HT and a  1966 Dodge Dart GT.  Owning and driving these cars does not make me an expert on any of them but it does add to my storehouse of trivial knowledge.

   I have also owned a Model A coupe, a 1950 Merc 2 dr, a 1950 Chevy Styleline, a 1949 Chevy Fleetline, a 1961 Caddy and a 1940 Ford 2dr Sedan but these never made the road.

I also belonged to the Westchester Street Rod Association in NY for 11+ years and drove my 40 ford Coupe to 7 Street Rod Nationals and covered every state east of the Mississippi River at least 2 twice.

I put 16+ years in the US Navy,  worked in NY for 15 years as an X-ray pipe welder,  welded for the Navy and worked as an aluminum welder for 7+ years.  I worked my own restoration shop for 7+ years.   Originally from NY my wife Angie and I moved the family to Fla some 32+ years ago.

My Son Joe has now retired from the US Army/Alaska national Guard with 22 yrs of service 12/31/2020.  My Son Ed has 17+ years US Navy (going for 20) and My son Patrick has 15+ years US Air Force (going for 20).

This does not make me an expert but it does make me a storehouse of trivial knowledge.   Don’t hesitate to call.  352 875 2344

Belair Auto Parts does sell parts for other Chevy’s from the 40’s to the 60’s but my primary interest is 1949-1954 Chevy’s and the majority of parts in stock are for 1949-1954 Chevy’s

When trying to contact me please understand,  I am a one man with my only help being the answering machine.  I handle the calls, the shipping, the purchasing, the research and stocking my shelves.  You are going to be talking to me when you call but there will be times when you will need to be patient.  I will respond.

  IMPORTANT

Shipping:    I do not make money by charging extra shipping charges. So if I find them to be  too high when  I receive the order form, I will refund any overages made by the computer estimating shipping. It is near impossible for the computer to be 100% accurate when estimating shipping charges. I apologize for any inconvenience.

  Att:    International Customers.

When placing an international order keep in mind that after the order form is received, you will be contacted with the exact shipping charges if the order form estimate is incorrect.  Also the length of parts does effect whether that part can ship using the USPS Postal Service which is the most reasonable cost for shipping internationally.  Longer parts need to be shipping using UPS, Fed X or Freight Forwarder.

Below are some of the countries I have sold parts to.

Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Japan, Poland, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, South Africa, Brazil, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Denmark, Switzerland, Great Britain, Germany, Kuwait, Dubai, the Cayman Islands, Taiwan, Indonesia and Zimbabwe and more that I cannot remember.
