Door
Moldings are those pieces of
stainless found half way up the door and are a continuation of the front
fender molding.
Belt Moldings
are the moldings on the top middle of the doors found where your arm would
rest while hanging out an open window.
Quarter Moldings
are the stainless on the rear fender found over the wheel opening.
Rocker Moldings
are the moldings on the very bottom of the car and extend from the front
fender to rear gravel shield.
Garnish Moldings
are found on the upper face of the door and curve to take the shape of the
upper doors. But they are not always called garnish molding, sometimes
they are just called upper door moldings.
I hope this helps clarify things.
I keep as much NOS moldings in stock as I
can find. I also keep good used moldings in stock. Generally a good used
piece means it has no dings or dents but is not new but used. These used
pieces are always sold for less money so if interested in used rather than
NOS, either call for availability or order an NOS piece and under comments
on the order form state you are interested in good used.
I also have important pieces of stainless
restored to show condition.
