1953 – 1954 Chevy 2 Door Quarter Panel Molding, lower Drivers Side NOS

The molding listed here is the driver’s side lower molding, used on all 2 door Belair quarter panels.  This example is new, NOS from GM and comes with the correct metal mounting strip missing from so many of these moldings offered today.  That strip has screws permanently affixed to that strip, so no moldings clips are needed.

Being NOS new means, it has never been installed onto any car since it was produced in the GM factory.

Additional information.

There is an upper and a lower molding used on the Bel Air quarter panel.

The 210-model of 1953 and 1954 had one molding on the quarter panel and it came to a point just ahead of the taillight.  The 150-model had no moldings on the side of the car.  The Delray was part of the 210-model series and had a different interior.

As seen in the above picture, they are connected at the rear by a small molding in the shape of a “V” and a “Bel Air script” is found just behind the paint divider located just above the gravel shield.  This opening, shown in this picture painted white, is normally painted the color of the roof.
