1953-1954 Chevy Backup Light Socket (single contact)
Pictured here is a single contact light socket for the 1953 and 1954 Chevy Backup Lights
The original light sockets GM used for this backup light application was 1 1/2 inch in size. No one is making a 1 1/2 inch socket today except me.
Also some of the sockets used by GM in this original application were one piece sockets and some were made just like these, that is 2 piece sockets. Pictured below are correct GM backup light sockets. These pictured here are part of the backup light kit I am selling elsewhere in this website. This picture is used to show a comparison between what I make and what GM used.
