1953-54 Chevy Sedan rear Windshield Weather strip seal “with groove for stainless”
This 1953-54 Chevy Sedan rear Windshield Weather strip seal “with groove for stainless”. Used on the 1953 or 54 Bel Air sedan and the Model 210 sedan both 2dr or 4dr, it is made to install the rear Windshield DB321 using the stock stainless reveal molding, as it did from the GM factory.
This seal is made in the USA.
This seal will work on the Model 150 cars but originally the 150 had no stainless around the glass. Elsewhere on this website you will find the correct windshield seal for the 150, made without the groove.
The 1953 and 1954 Chevy had a windshield stainless that was made in the shape of a “T” and the lower leg of that “T” pressed into a groove formed in the windshield weather seal. No molding clips were used on this seal.
