6 volt Turn Signal Flasher 268This flasher is new, NOS, Aluminum can. This flasher is not what is pictured. I need to change the picture. The example I have is a short flasher. An Ideal brand flasher, round and but short and in mint condition. It is a 2-terminal flasher with the terminals in the normal right-angle configuration.
Wording on the box and on some of the flashers (Volkswagen) for two 18-watt lamps. Some other vehicles that this flasher was used on are:
Ford 1949-1955
Hudson 1940-1954
Lincoln 1949-1955
Mercury 1949-55
Volkswagen 1954-66
These instructions are always on the box flashers come in
X — Power (hot lead)
L — Load (to switch operating lamps to be flashed)
P — to Pilot indicator lamp (this connection may be omitted. Flasher will operate properly either way)
