Listed here is a Dome Light Assembly found on the 1941-1948 Chevy’s.
This light assembly is also used one some other GM products of these years.
This assembly Is original GM. If I were to rate it, I would make it a 9.5 out of 10. The lens is perfect and looking great. The bezel does have some very fine pitting that would not be noticed sitting in either of the car seats, the reflector also has some minor pitting but would not affect the working of this light. I have cleaned and tested the socket contacts and they are in good working order. I do not include a bulb unless under notes on the order form you indicate your car is 6 or 12 volts.
This light assembly should be able to be used as is with no problems. I do believe you will be happy this this one.
