This pair of 1953-54 rear Gravel Shields were manufactured on or about 1953 or 1954. Original GM rear shield that were removed from either a 1953 or 1954 Chevy. Purchased by me for the purpose of having them restored.
And now I am offering this set that has been restored to better than new condition
for sale. Just the pieces your need to complete you beautiful Chevy.
1953 Chevy restored Gravel Shields
For those people who are not familiar with the stainless restoration process,
allow me to explain.
When I have these original stainless gravel shields restored, 1st they have all the dings, dents, scratches, scrapes and waves removed. At that point they are sanded to a pure dull finish removing all the small high and low spots. Lastly they are polished on a polishing wheel to a high luster, better than new. This process is very labor intensive but worth every minute,
