Hood Insulation Clip.   

This is a Hood Insulation Clip used by Ford.  They were used on may different  vehicles.  In this case my supplier tells me these are used on Fords. 

They are made of Black Plastic and are 1 1/2 in. by 1 1/2 in.  in size.  

The Ford part number for this item is C6GY-16776-A.  These clips are known to be found on Comet’s, Fairlane’s and Torino’s.  

Most likely it could be used on many other Ford products and could be used on GM or Mopar products as well
