 Dodge molding clip  1955

This clips  is an NOS molding clips  said to be for theCowl Molding and Belt Molding on the 1955 Dodge.  The part number for this clips is #31058.   That is all the information I have concerning this clip.

This clip is a press in style clip with 2 different shape ears and is small.  Both ears are flat. One  ear sits flast while the other bends slightly down.   The information I am offering came from that box the clips were in when I purchased them so please do your own research to be sure.

 In this picture you can see the main base of the clip has a slight butterfly shape to it.   The base is 7/8 inch long at is longest point measure at a right angle to the snap in leg.  The width of the widest ear is 7/16 inch wide measures at a right angle to the snap in leg.  The width of the shorter ear is 7/16 inch wide but is a slightly different shape.  The part of the clip that would snap in a body hole is 1/2 inch tall.  

Because this clip is NOS I cannot reorder this clip so what I have is all I have.
