  1954 Chevy reproduction Horn Button

Listed here is a 1953 Chevy reproduction Horn Button.  These buttons are of nice quality and is sold to replace the original 1953 Chevy Horn Button when an original is not available or too expensive.  They fit well but as you can see in the picture, they are clear not colored. 

The original horn buttons were colored to match the color of your interior. These reproductions are made to mimic the original in that they are able to be painted any color you choose on the inside or the button to match your interior.

Other than the obvious difference of being clear, the only other difference is the rubber O-ring pictured and included with the plastic horn button.  That O-ring replaces the metal snap ring used on the original horn button which held the button securely into the chrome horn ring.

The original-colored horn buttons are not being made today.
