Unidentified molding clip

This clips  is an NOS molding clips  but I do not have any idea what it was used on.

The top of the clip where the molding would fasten is unusual in that it is slightly folded like a J Nut is made. That top measures 3/4 in one way and 7/8 in the other way. The threaded stud part is 7/8 in long and is a 1/4 20 thread.  

Because this clip is unidentified I cannot reorder this clip so what I have is all I have.
